Has anyone here ever installed this on their scoot? I would like to install speakers and an amp on my scoot. Anyone recommend these?

Is the installation easy?

I can't say I've ever seen one of these particular products mentioned here. That certainly doesn't mean it can't be/hasn't been done. I've seen a 2-speaker setup w/ amp installed on a much smaller Yamaha Vino, so I'm sure it's possible on the Beaver...it's just a matter of making it work.

You might have the spare power to work those, but I do not recomend any speakers for a scoot or motorcycle. If you want music use an mp3 player or ipod.. there is enough musical noise polution as it is with all the thumping cages rolling around. No need to add to it, as you would have to turn them up pretty high just to hear anything over the wind and street noise. But that is just my opinion about speakers on 2 wheels. Simply put it seems to be a waste of time, effort and money.

I purchased this unit.
It was OK but I later switched to the HD radio and amplifier
shown in this thread.

I rigged up speakers and an i pod player, behind windscreen, I couldn't get enough volume nor was it clear, over the wind, street, noise, so switched back to headset.
