ceramic fuses, just lost my headlamp on my `74 v-90.,,drag i used to get them @ import shops, Can i use the glass fuses, no battery all lites run on the alt/gen dynamo, what ever it has.. it`s pretty bright once it`s moving along. thanks

Man, you're in luck. I spent the weekend fixing the electrics on a '74 US-spec Super...which has the same electrical system, same fusebox with the same fuses.

My buddy said they can be purchased from a place that does old VW stuff. Apparently they used these fuses in old VW's. The super and the rally took a red one and a white one, and i can only assume yours is the same. They don't use ceramic anymore, though, they use plastic with a bit of metal strung across in the same way.

My girlfriend's 1995 mercedes has the same fuses oddly enough.

..good ideas, all of them, i found a VW place ( i used to work @ one) that does nothing but VW Westphalias,, he has them,, not far from me either
