It's funny to me that you guys and the brits are all about the rhyming nicknames for things.

We have no such clever term for Australians. I think, to most yanks, when someone says "Australia" it conjures up images of Paul Hogan, Yahoo Serious, Men at Work, Vegemite, Koala's and kangaroos.

I do believe mainly the sheep-shagging humour is used by the English when referring to the Welsh.
