Modern Vespa

Here we go again. Nothing freakish, bizaar, or unconventional this week, although there is a little "twist" this time around: if you don't like my choice (either The Motorcycle Diaries, Easy Rider, or The Wild Angels), then bring your own movie. Once we're all here, we'll take a vote!

As always, pizza and soft drinks will be served.

As always (or, at least, as always on every other Tuesday from 6PM to 9PM), everything in the store will be 10% off, and this will apply to all special order items, as well. Alas, it will not apply vehicles. We should all be so lucky.

RSVP if you can, but please come on down, either way. And, if any of you won something from us, in the Amerivespa raffle, you need to come on down and pick it up!

I won a jacket from you folks! I'm looking forward to dropping by, but probably not for another week or so, since I'm down in Satan Cruz and don't get up your way that often.

Hmmm... I should try to make it this...

One thing I can guarantee is pizza and soft drinks...and plates and napkins, of course, since we're so civilized here. But I'm never sure about the turnout. So, if you plan on coming, bring all your friends. If I have to order 10 pizzas, so be it...

Sounds like alot of fun, I vote for the Scootrist way of Life video. I didn't win jack didle beause i was'nt there for half the Amerivespa event.

Honestly: if you're a fan of just about anything on DVD, and you have, or can locate a copy, bring it on down. The truth is that [i]Viewer's[/Choice always wins out over my choice, which is often questionable, at best....

I'd love to come... but we have our regular meet up at Trials Pub in San Jose on Tuesday nights. Any chance you might be able to hold future movie nights another day of the week? If so, I'll do my best to round up some people to ride up from down here. And I even have a great classic DVD I can bring... Hell's Angels On Wheels, starring a very young Jack Nicholson.

I do believe that we have a copy of Hells Angels on Wheels, as well. Part of the - ahem- Permanent Collection, if you will.

The reason we do this on Tuesday nights is that we're open late anyway. Since I'm the one who'll be holding down the fort, and I happen to live in SF, any other night would really do great harm to my relationship with my girlfriend, our cat, and our new puppy. On the other hand, I promise to bring up the subject with the business owners, to see if anyone else would be able to keep the shop open for a movie night, on another night.

Any preferences for a particular night of the week???
