i really need some help i have just completed a belt and roller change on my gts125 and there i something wrong! i wanted to change the rollers as they were a bit noisey, so after getting all the advice i could even off your tec' corner i was confident that i could tackle the job myself. i ordered the parts and as soon as they were delivered i set to work. i stripped everything down the belt looked fine but decided to change it while it was in bits. every item i took off was layed out on a board and marked eg. where it was from and which way round etc.... so no mistakes. all seemed fine and it. went back together like a dream, everything was finished tools put away, then i started it up, now the noise is ten times worse Crying or Very sad emoticon what have i done wrong??? so i stripped everything down again thinking i had put something on backwards. rebuilt it again still the same..... now i was getting worried so i decided to try again but rebuiding it using the old parts, thinking the new parts may be wrong but its still the same. i am at a loss of what to do now so is there anyone that can please help me out. thanks dean.....

Hmm.. did you make sure to compress the clutch pulley spring so that the belt could rest properly in the variator pulley? This is probably the most common error here.

It's not hard to put the rollers in backward. Would that make the noise?
