On this bike, I'll usually ride another 15-20 miles after the light comes on and fill up from that point has been consistently 1.85 gal. Gas mileage isn't as good, either but hopefully that will improve over time with break in.

I have slightly over 2 litres in my GTS 300 Super when the reserve light comes on, which is about 0.5 US gallons. Same display as the GT!

I have actually measured this properly by using the fuel pump to drain the tank into a measuring jug. The quoted capacity of the tank is exactly as stated - 9.2 litres.

I average 23.9 km/l so I now know that when the light comes on I can do a minimum of 45km before dry, and that is beng cautious. I can get 200km out of a full tank, maybe 220km - say 120 miles, and this in London traffic....

Until it is addressed, the most accurate measure is to go by miles driven since last fill-up. Figure 150 to 165 miles per tank before you need to panic about getting stuck somewhere because you ran out of gas.
