Wine and Vespa fanatic, Eli Hardof, is hosting an Italian scooter meetup and exposition along with a FREE wine and cheese tasting just 20 minutes from the GW Bridge.

We are sponsoring a meetup in front of our shop tomorrow, Sunday July 26th from 12 noon to 4pm. We are expecting a nice turnout from regional scooter clubs like NY Scooter Club, Rockland Scooter club and LI scooter club.

Rain or shine we will be having a great FREE wine and cheese tasting in the shop. I've been putting together a collection of Italian wines(and 1 Aussie) that have scooters on the labels.

I would love to make this a mega event and get a big crowd to show up with scooters, especially vintage owners. The focus is Italian, but we want the non-Italian scooterists to come as well, we'll have a section just for your bikes. I thought it would be fun to have a vote on best vintage and modern scooter and I would award a bottle of wine to each winner.

Afterwards we could all swing over to Cafe Portofino in Piermont for an early group dinner. Beautiful town on the Hudson if you've never been there. The ride from the GW is short, scenic and easy.

The event details:
Location: Wine For All, 516 Rt 303 Orangeburg NY 10962 845-680-9463 idrinkwine.com
Date: Sunday, July 26th 12noon to 4pm
Venue: Italian scooters, wines & cheeses (non italian scooters welcome)
Contact: Eli Hardof, eli@idrinkwine.com 845-680-9463

Re: Sunday wine & cheese tasting...
So far the bad weather looks like it will hold off till later in the day. The Italian wine and cheese tasting is on rain or shine.

Hope the scooter riders will take a chance and come over.

See ya!

If you want scooters, maybe you should have a rain date.
I don't mind getting caught in the rain, but
if it's a rainy day, I'm not excited about
getting on my Vintage scooters.

I understand your feelings Music, unfortunately there were too many logistics to put this together to make a rain date, and given the fickle weather this summer I'm not sure if a rain date would help.

We have to move forward, I rode my scooter today, admittedly a shorter distance than you guys, but none the less I'm here.

The weather report shows very little chance of rain between 12-4
See the link below. But of course that can change.
