You play a steel drum? My favorite instrument! Every time I hear one, I feel I'm back on vacation.

How long is that AIDS walk? If I lived in the neighborhood, I'd want to participate. I did the inauguration Avon 3-Day from Santa Barbara to Malibu. It was an awesome experience. About 1000 women and 200 men, walking 55 miles in three days...

I think the walk is around Golden Gate Park. First time to play it. Congrats on your Avon walk. My arthritic knees would have given out on me.
I wish our repertoire was a bit bigger, playing the same songs for 2 hours is gonna be a marathon event. It would be no sweat for people that do Carnivale competitions and they play the same song over and over again!

Hey have fun in your walk today, I just wish I lived in SF, I'd be on that walk with you, but not playing a steel drum though since I don't play the steel drum.

Too bad there wasn't another medical program you could attended here in SF then sneak off for the Walk.
Steel Drums are easy to learn. As long as there are other players that can cover up those missed hits!.

It was a great gig. To bad no one said Hi. Maybe next year the local scooterists can band up and do the walk. A scooterless rally!!! Lots of groups teamed up, had matching T shirts, hats and banners,
I think I got sunburned from the sunlight reflecting in my steel drum pan and my Middle C got too warm and de-tuned.
I was following our equipment truck and like in the SF scooter rallies I so wanted to run the red light!!! Yipes!
