Can't beat this one. As some of you know, I was the victim of a hit-n-run driver who twisted my centerstand. The dealer fixed this free as part of my 600 mile checkup. The only other damage was the left rear reflector was smashed. This reflector is apparently NOT part of the OEM machine but is added to comply with U.S. DoT regulations...and is therefore something that I couldn't easily locate - the dealer couldn't even find a part number for it.
I found on Amazon <http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=italian+flag+reflector&x=15&y=19> a stick-on reflector in approximately the same size...in an Italian flag (I trust you appreciate the appropriateness of that for an MP3 or any Piaggio, Vespa, or Lambressa). It cost only three bucks and they even shipped it for free! Just in case it could be an issue, I mounted one on both sides with the red portion towards the rear (so one is, I suppose, an upside-down Italian flag). I don't know DoT regs well enough to know if the specific requirement is that the ENTIRE rear reflector must be red, but I DO have have a red reflector at the rear on the side, and that reflector IS the same size as the original. Don't blame me if your DMV is so anal as to gig you for it, though.
