when you install the euro lights, is there still the regular light or do they turn in to parking lights? would anyone know of a kit that only has the lights turn yellow when the blinker is on? this is what i was looking at http://www.scooterwest.com/item_detail/LX150-Euro-Turn-Signal-Kit/1335/ any advice would be appreciated. thanks

Turn yellow when he blinker is on. Have them on my LX. Scoot looks much better without those earrings. I would get them from scooterwest and install them. Enjoy

I was under the impression that the Euro conversion kit from Scooterwest keeps the lights on all the time while running + adds blinking capability when signaling. Incorrect?

this one looks like the one from scooter west, it stays on all the time as yellow, then also blinks.

I would think the yellow would be a good thing more visible.

I did mine roughly the same way as Copper Dolphin did in this thread, except I didn't install piezo buzzers (I already have an Audicator installed):
LX150 Turn signal Euro Mod + buzzers.

I had previously installed LED running lights in the front, and wanted to keep those to save alternator capacity for battery charging. I also wanted amber turn signals, too... so going to two separate lamps in each reflector assembly made sense.

It wasn't too hard to do.

You'd need two bulbs for that, and since our OEM housings are set up with only 1 socket (for a bulb), it would be a custom job.

I was going to say the same thing. The Euro kit has only one bulb (yellow). It is on steady for running lights and flashes for blinkers. I don't see how you could make two bulbs fit.

Read the thread I quoted... it's easy. Took me a couple of hours, and most of that time was futzing with the front crash bars and rack to get the horncast off.

I've installed the MotorsportScooters Euro turn signal kit on my LX150. The white running lights now become low intensity amber, and they stay on when the engine is running. When signalling, the bulbs "blink" from low intensity to high intensity and not from off to on.

I like the set up! I wanted to keep my running lights on, and like the amber ones. I didn't care for the white running lights because they (1) did nothing you see the road any better and (2) imho, may be confusing at night to an on-coming vehicle.
