I've made a slight change to the way the forum displays the member list such that everybody's "member number" will now be a bit higher than they thought it was.
The forum has always assigned a user ID number for each new member. Mine is 2, for instance. Glasseye is 35. JerryG is 103. There are some holes in the range of user ID numbers, though -- places where accounts got deleted, primarily. The forum used to show the member number as if those holes didn't exist, making everyone's member number slightly different from their actual user ID.
I've changed it so that the member number displayed by the forum matches the actual user ID used internally to track users. Practically speaking, this makes no difference at all, except that all the numbers are now one or more greater than they used to be.
Sorry for the inconvenience. A rash of signature lines being updated in 3... 2... 1...
