Push firmly on the button where you insert the key and glovebox pops open. [The key doesn't need to be in but the steering column must be in the UNlocked position. If nothing happens when you push the button, put the key in and unlock.]
It's probably not in search because no one has needed to ask the question after getting the grand tour from their dealer. I suspect you pissed your dealer off so much with your extended accessory hunt that they wanted to get you in and out without instructions. Another part of me thinks someone paid you to ask the question to see how much ridicule you get. This thread is sure to draw guffaws on other scooter boards in no time. ⚠️ Last edited by Bobovespa on UTC; edited 2 times

Owners Manual should have a section on opening glove box:
1. Standard method: While key is in ignition turn to on and then push in this will push a lever in back of your glove box panel and release the catch of the glove box. One day...remove your glove box panel and get familiar with what's back there. Edited by Benito - I don't think we want that info on how to get into our glove boxes here for anyone to read thanks. |

Only time I saw the Scooter was when I went to look at it before buying it and when they delivered it.

Now in defense of the OP, I parked my scooter next to a very nice guy at Amerivespa who didn't know how to lock the glovebox and pet warmer. I showed him how they locked when he locked his steering column and he was thrilled.
Now here's the kicker...he'd apparently asked the dealer how to lock the steering column because he'd heard that was possible and the dealer told him his model "didn't have" the locking steering column as a feature. (Of course there is something to be said for reading the manual.) |

It would not surprise me that a Vespa Dealer would not conduct the due diligence in reviewing a new scoot purchase with a walk thru of the scoot...overall my impression is they got the rights as a Dealership but focus on the big bikes...our dealer sells Harleys, Kawasaki's and then Vespas...no, we have no where else to go only one Dealer in town.
Hence (tongue in cheek), I would be surprised that some the comments on this post are just a sampling of real life experiences...luckily we have MV... |

I know how to open the underseat storage and topcase. I'll put at least 20 Miles aday when I start riding to work 10 miles each way some time this week.

You know your scooter's manuel has a lot of info in it. Would advise you to read through it.
