Hi there-

I am looking to buy the Joe Rocket 5.0 Phoenix on clearance (non returnable) so thougth I'd ask the ladies if anyone has one and can say if sizing is good. I'm 40 chest, 32 waist so fitting their size charts well. I have long monkey arms so sleeves being long is good.

Thanks!

Joe Rocket
I have the opposite problem, size 42 chest and 34 waist, with little tiny short arms.
Got the Joe Rocket Cleo 2.0 Jacket much cheap on Ebay (in XL). (<$110)
Sleeves are long, but can unzip to fit my shorter guns. Should be fine on you.

Anyway, that's my 0.02 cents....

I also agree with the longer sleeves bit. I actually have to pin some of the armor pockets to keep the armor up on my elbow, instead of down near my wrists.

Pity no one makes "petite" sized motorcycle gear.

Somehow the words 'petite' and 'large chested' don't ever seem to fit into most clothing manufacturer's plans. Thanks to my Russian great grandma, I am about as naturally endowed as Pamela Anderson before she got the implants out, but have the shoulder width of a little tiny person. So my gear has to fit the chest, but usually doesn't do so well with waist and shoulders. Joe Rocket seems to be the exception, in that they have adjustment straps which help. Sleeves are something I throw my hands up at if I can't get them tailored shorter.
Also Joe Rocket stuff has strapping at elbow points to keep the armor where it belongs.

Thansk for all the input folks! I went ahead and ordered the Phoenix. It's a bit boyish, but the price is right. Maybe I should bet a matching Ducatti to go wtih it???

I've got the JR all-season jacket, the Alter Ego [zips to mesh], my first scooter jacket. I wear petites (and it *would* be great to see some petites in women's cycle/scooter gear!). But the velcro at the wrists makes the sleeves fit just fine, and the armor is in the right places for me.

Enjoy your new jacket-- post pix! 8)
