That thing looks pretty sweet as is. I like the seat. Do you need room for two or what?

That's not a Corsa seat, it's an Ancillotti. Slightly lower at the front than the Corsa and no flattened section at the back where the stripe goes.

I've got one on mine, it's like sitting on a slightly padded plank.

it's not an ancillotti seat... it's a ancillotti STYLED seat.

Real ancilotti's were lambretta only, AFAIK, and looked like this ... ( which i think is far cooler than these vespa ones ). It's hard to tell from this pic, but they were VERY low profile, and followed the curve of the back of the lambretta, which made them look sexy on the bike.

Also, i think they stopped making them some time ago, so real ones are worth some money.

Here's one with some ugly cover on it, but you get the idea of how the curvature was followed, which i think makes it stylistically far cooler than any vespa attempt at copying one.

You're right Eric, they are advertised and marketed as Ancillotti though.

I know. It just bums me out a little. Apples are apples, oranges are oranges.... quit calling an orange a "orange-colored apple!" because it's not the same thing.

Congratulations on your new ride Mudge.
I have just bought the same seat as came on your bike and love it. So much better than the std PX seat. Std seat was way too soft for my 88kgs.
Bet it sounds good and all?

Sorry boys, have had to look after the kids all day. But i have had a couple of hours spare to strip some bits off ready for polishing tonight.
The bike is filthy but i did add some stripes after doing the seat.
Any comments good/bad welcome.

Don't start me off Laughing emoticon I painted all of the chrome on my last bike and had a matt blue body as im not a big fan of shiny things.
But once i have done all the chrome it all it will only need a once over every week.
BUT when the day does come (when i wipe out) it will go matt or satin black

I like the rear cowl stripes ya applied. Where did you get them? They look as though they went on really clean.
