O.K. ...now the next question...which brand...Oringinal Piaggio, Faco, Cuppini????
Comparing the Vespa and the Faco, the mounting 'bits' on the Faco are all metal, whilst the Vespa has a plastic cylindrical component. However, in terms of the plastic and the attaching to the mounts of the said plastic, I would go with the Vespa.

I'm planning on doing a comparison post between the mid Faco and tall Vespa, but I'm away all week so it might be a while.

I and other posters on this forum have had windshields with the metal, cylindrical expansion bolts that jammed after being tightened in the mounting holes. After a friend and I worked for over two hours in an attempt to remove it, I finally cut off one of the 90 degree arms so I could remove it. This ruined the mount but at that point, I didn't care since I would have never put it back in again anyway.
Conversely, my wife has a Vespa shield on her GTS and I have removed it many times for various reasons and it has never jammed since it has the heavy plastic pieces that sit on the bolts that are inserted into the mounting slots. My strong recommendation to you is to go with the Vespa brand of windscreen.
