Couldn't ride last couple of weeks. Beautiful weather the whole time.

Will be picking up bike later today after 6000 mile service with a freshly mounted brand new MSG 150/70 14 tire.

It's pouring rain today and bad weather is predicted for rest of the week.

Surely you have rain gear. Just ride in the rain. MP3s eat it up. Much better solution than waiting. Summers are short up there and you need to get you riding in before the snow falls.

Sure I have rain gear... As it turns out, I dragged all my gear on the train with me to work expecting that the bike would be ready today. Of course, it's not. Love it...

Check if the Graphite Collar fix your 'sound like harley' exhaust problem . Hope you won't have to wait too long.

Yeah Sky, you got that right!

Well, I'm not getting my hopes up on picking up the bike today. So it's going on 3 days for the 6000 mile service, rear tire change and graphite bushing installation for the exhaust. Seems a little long to me, no? They're not really disclosing what the hold up is and claim they have all the parts.

Right now I'm in full on pessimistic mode. I swear, I'm going through some sort of withdrawal !! Crying or Very sad emoticon Between now waiting to get the bike back and STILL no J. Costa (6 weeks)...well, you know...
Just slap me - I know I'm too impatient!

That's appalling. It'd be a 2-hour while-you-wait job for that lot here. At the very least a loan bike for the duration.

Options are very limited as far as where I can get "authorized" service around here. The dealership where I originally bought the 500 (which primarily sold cars), closed down their scooter/Piaggio division and sold all their "special scooter tools" and stuff to the place where I've got it now. Which at the very least, only sells and specializes in servicing Piaggio Group and Moto Guzzi bikes.

Without driving for over an hour, they're all I've got for now. Hope they do an amazing job.
