Just had an email from Kymco advertising the 2010 KYMCO Yager 200i and I was wondering if this is a brand new addition to their line.

Not quite a 200 (174cc), but it has electronic fuel injection and looks pretty good. At a list price of $3500 it looks like it might be a nice buy for longer commutes.

Link to the web page (but not too many pictures of it)

I test rode one of those at our rally on Saturday. They are calling it the Frost here in Canada. I thought it was a bit on the ugly side, like it was struck with the ugly stick, but that's just my opinion and opinions may vary. It had good pick up, but my GT 200 is much better IMHO.

Too slick advertising by Kymco, IMO!
I'm really growing tired of all the deceptive advertising and slick misrepresentation
concerning scooter labels and actual engine displacement size!
This kymco Yeager "200i" is actually only 174.5 ccs!
That, no way in hell counts as a "200" scooter, AFAIC!
You'd think at least they might've been honest enough to call it a 175, or maybe even a 180?

They all do it now (lie), even Vespa. -But at least Vespa's GT200 is an actual 198ccs!

I think being aware that the "200" you're thinking of buying is really only a 174
might be fairly important to you, especially if you were planning to do a lot of highway touring or commuting?
-Sheeeesh! -Wot a bunch o' crap!

Agreed! Calling a 174 a 200cc scooter is more than a stretch of the imagination, it almost reaches to deceit. Are there any car manufacturers that advertise a car that way?

Why not just call it what it is, a 175??
