The time has come, my gt200's battery needs to be replaced. Can anyone recommend an inexpensive gel-acid battery, and where i could pick one up?

Since you're in Carlsbad, check out:

Great folks, and MV sponsors too! Their prices have always seemed fair to me, and they know their stuff!

They have more things than are listed on their website, BTW.

Good luck!

I replaced my original battery with a Yuasa. It's over two years old now. Starts every time, even after sitting for weeks. I never have to bother with that trickle-charger nonsense.

I like Scooterwest. Good peeps. They seem..hrm..less slimey then certain dealerships.

The yuasa sounds like a good bet. what model do you have? would i need to go to a specialty store to get one?

I have an ET4 so my model# wouldn't work for yours. The store will have a catalog to cross-reference your original battery. I took the dimensions with me, just to be sure. You can get them at any motorcycle parts store.
