Well, I am back in Mexico after three months in NoCal, and I am having problems with my ET2. It starts and runs, but raw gas is coming out of the exhaust. No blue smoke, just a lot of gas, so much gas that I am afraid to run it until I figure out what the problem could be. Could it be a bad float in the carburetor or something else? Anyone seen this before?

I imagine that while it runs, it doesnt run well? You definitely are flooding and not burning all the gas. Could be a stuck float yes, or your fuel tap could be gummed up and stuck all the way open. I'd start with the carb... do you have any experience opening up a carb and checking on things?

My ET2 is blowing gas out the exhaust, problem solved
Xantufrog,
Thanks for the reply. The problem is that there is not a problem. I stopped by a friend's house and he said that probably there was just a lot of condensation in the muffler and if it was gas coming out then it would flood out or burn up in the muffler. So when I got back, on my ET4, I fired up the ET2 and went for gas. It got me to the station and everything cleared up. Starange things happen in the tropics when you let any kind of equipment set up for a while. Learn something new everyday down here. Great place, come visit in the winter, prices are very low on everything.
