Modern Vespa

Anybody know where I can find a rear seat rack for a GTS 300? Scooterworks hasn't caught up yet and didn't have anything. I would prefer one of the spring-loaded folding ones like on the LXV, and big enough to hold the large Prima roll bag.

BTW, the 300 is great- Don't believe any of the crap you read about this and that. It's been perfect! People moaning about the gas overflowing? Don't all Vespas have this problem if you try to burp it? Brakes? They're great. This is a cool-looking, relatively fast scooter not designed for race tracks. Enjoy what it is, and don't complain because it isn't something it was not intended to be. End of lecture. Good night and good luck.

I think the standard gts 250 rack is supposed to fit it.

A 250 rack will fit and the dimensions are the same, but the design is slightly different. I ordered a stock topcase for my 300 and it came with the rack, and I know it also comes with the chrome kit, but I'm not sure if Vespa sells the rack by itself. Ask the dealer, they should be able to tell you for sure.

I thank you. I didn't think that the 250 hardware would fit, but it makes sense.

I just installed one of the GTS racks on my 300. Purchased it through my dealer and it took about 4 weeks for them to get it in.
