Has anyone else noticed that there have been about 2 or 3 of these popping up a week now? Mostly from posters with VERY low post counts. Then the folks in the know start playing the "Spot the Bodge" game and pointing out everything thats wrong about the scoot.

Well... I have noticed in several of the posts that the OP has decent english but some odd grammar mistakes thrown in. I may be a bit paranoid but, I believe that these are the folks that push these pieces of crap out of asia and are looking for ways to better disguise this junk based on the feedback from this forum.

Interesting. Yeah I guess I could see that happening. I know we were getting some that were just trolls, same scooter a couple of times but I guess I never considered that a seller might be using it to better disguise their product.

that's why i am not waisting dialouge on the phishing threads

(the one with the a-- that had the pics the size of a frikin 747 flyin across my screen)

but i think the 500 dollar pile of yellow indo?/viet? bike is interesting.

that person is obviously not a gag and points out that maybe just maybe there is hope for a bike that is deemed a black sheep.

just takes balls and a little crazyness(thats me)

i'm waiting to hear more from our indo members to see if the yellow bike is in fact from indo.

i agree though that the phishing is problematic Nerd emoticon

Some sort of popularity contest thing, I wouldn't worry about it.

Are you suggesting we give negative karma too these trolls? Burn the witch!

Really who cares who these people are. It only takes one person to say bodge. No harm done.

well, i guess no buy - no harm

the thing thats evil is that they phish for info and then make changes to better hide the "bodge " factor.

at the same time the gurus are helping other new and old(like me) members be better informed.

a dichotomy if you will

hey, I resemble that remark! I started one of these threads myself, for a VBB that seemed better put together than the usual bodges. I could pick out only a few outs and thought those with better eyes could spot some others. I agree while educating ourselves, these threads help "the folks that push these pieces of crap" too.

Anyways, yeah the recent threads popping up seem iffy. Even if the english is ok, you can tell that it's written by a non-native speaker ie: the poster of the recent one with "pics the size of a frikin 747". Laughing emoticon
