Well, this was in my car a long time ago, and a giant hard dragonfly flew in the wind wing (any of you remember what that was?) and hit me smack in the chest. It really startled me. It hurt too.
Is that the little opening triangular window that cars used to have? I have these on my Mitsubishi truck and I think they're great

I had to split a pack of wild dogs down in FL. No time to stop or they would

attack. The old Harley had fur on it that day.

A Pheasant

Back when I had a GSX750, I was accelerating hard from a junction in the countryside around me, got to about 95 and saw a big cock Pheasant at the side of the road in the distance. By the time I had thought "this could be bad", I was about a yard from it, it did the typical Pheasant take off routine of hard, fast, straight up but stay low. The upshot was I hit it head on doing about 100mph, it was a hell of a bang, the bike shook its head like hell but stayed on course, I came to a quick halt and got off to survey the carnage. Its head had gone missing, but had bent my offside indicator back through 90 degrees as it had gone by, the rest of it was packed , surprisingly neatly, between the forks, the fairing and the mudguard and was sizzling nastily against the oil cooler.

I got such an odd look from an old couple in a car going the other direction as I was pulling out a huge, dead, partly cooked bird from the front of my bike.

I felt bad about it, but couldnt have avoided it, the only damage to the bike was the indicator lens , which cracked, and a faint smell of cooking for a month afterwards.

A bat... at night. Didn't even see it coming. Caught me right across the chest.
