I saw that thing today...I really just want the motor out of that thing really..the rest of it is useless..it's just a P frame I also prefer the round headlight...but I think that can be converted without issues.

I'll keep an eye out for a T5 motor for ya up here.

theres a t5 cutdown for sale over here £250 with most of a T5 engine. no flywheel or carb. shame it cant be popped in ya suicase

There's a project T5 on scoot.net for $1500 or trade. The engine needs a top end and reed valve converson. Maybe you could convince the seller to give up the motor.

I'd guess there are maybe 150 - 200 +/- T5s in the states? One recently sold in Colorado too. I see maybe 3-4 up for sale a year.

I think more will make their way over from Italy as they age and Italy is encouraging retiring the old 2 strokes.

Dammit, I'd buy that in a heart beat if I wasn't just about to drop $1900 on another bike....

Saw one yesterday, think it may have been being prepped for sale, will ask when I'm there today.
