hi again,

i m enjoying my T5 a lot, sorted many of the issues i had , thanks for your advices, now my last little problem is this, as many vespa my T5 is tilted slightly to the left (when seen from behind) it annoys me a little as it FEELS tilted, . if i change to a set of clauss rubber mounting will i improve the ride , as tiltness that is. anyone tried them? or could be that the tiltness comes from another source?

i enjoy the clauss studios engine mounts on my SS180. That said, they are a bitch to install.

well, it depends on if your buffers are what's CAUSING the tilting!

I mean, you might as well replace the 3 rubber engine mounts ( two on the front swingarm, one in the back for the suspension ).

It could also be the suspension, or the rubber mount up at the top... so you could replace that, too.

Is it badly tilted? Or just a little tilted? Is it affecting your ride? Sometimes when we know it's there, our minds make it seem worse than it is. A liitle "tilttiness" is ok!

rear hub nut loose? looks like the wheel is the problem...or the center stand is bent. most are.

have a friend sit on it and see if it straightens out (off the centerstand).

sometimes a longer shock will produce that type of result while on the stand but under compression (riding) it sorts itself out.

at anyrate, i agree with eric. sussing out the cause of the tilt should be your first order of business. from there attack what needs attention.

and, yeah, the clauss mounts are sweet... but they are a dirty whore to install...

best,
-greasy
