Modern Vespa

Good evening folks! I'm just introducing myself. I'm George, and I live in Monmouth County, NJ. I just purchased a new Vespa LXV 150 from and old friend in PA.

From what I've read so far, this looks like a great place to learn. I'm looking forward to the journey!

I tried several times to add a pic... I must be missing something (besides my brain).

Is the picture somewhere else on 'the web'? If so just insert the URI between the img tags.

If it's only only your HD, then you need to 'attach' it.

I'm sure it'll all be in a Wiki somewhere...

Hey George welcome to MV.

An easy way to post pictures from your hard drive is to use the "add an attachment" feature under the "post a reply" window.

Just it "browse" to locate the image(s) and then hit "add attachment"

Then when you submit your post it will appear.

I f you are using an image hosting site like FLicker.... I'm clueless.

Ditto on the scoot and color. I wish the GTS came in that green. I wish the GTS (at least the year I have) came in any color that was more vintage looking or eye popping, besides red.

Hey, your scoot is almost like my portofino green GTV! Good choice of colour!

I think the vintage colours are deliberately reserved for the "V" series (LXV and GTV). Unfortunately the price of the V series is a bit ridiculous! That's because it is Portofino Green...

This is a great place to talk and get information.
A lot of good riders here. That's a sweet ride you
have there, nice green paint job too. How many
miles on your sweet ride? My first Vespa was an
ET4 2003 and it took me everywhere. I got 24,000
miles on it before I sold it and now I ride a 2008
GTS 250ie, this is a sweet ride also. Hope you find
more scooter riders to ride with. 8)

The LX has a much nicer ass than the GTS, don't you agree?

I have the same scoot in the same color, lovin' it! Great place to learn, if you have questions hit the search button and you can find a ton of info!

That's a really nice scoot!! I don't see many LXVs with topcases, especially the matched Vespa one. Looks pretty good. You'll definately enjoy that little scoot.
