Since fitting a tall screen to my GTS 300 (5000km on the clock), I seem to be filling up every other day?

I half expected this to happen, but not this badly...

Anyone else noticed this?

I'm not surprised really, your new frontal total square footage with the large screen is much greater than without, thus increasing your co-efficient of drag, thus worsening your fuel efficiency. Add a small flyscreen on the other hand your your fuel efficiency will improve because of better aerodynamics without the increase in frontal square footage.

Having had the screen on for long motorway trips and short, around town trips, I can now say...

I love it

I added a chrome trim around the outside today which has made it look better. Whilst I prefer the look without, I'm not bothered by it being on there. The protection it offers is just what I was looking for, I now only get a whistling noise that I can stop if I block the air with my hand just between the screen and left mirror stalk - not sure why this is?

Anyone want to buy a mid size Faco tinted?
