Was on a rally ride today and my odometer rolled over 10,000 miles...since October 15 2008...even with the Smrfmobile in the shop for a whole month...!! Woo hooo....and loving every mile.

Ah, the California lifestyle. Sun all year round, and few rainy days, weeks, months. Us poor shlubs in PA have to deal with the harsh winters that make riding all but impossible.

Maybe it's time I relocated...

I turned over 15,000 miles yesterday.

Congrats on that! That's encouraging!

I haven't hit 10% of that quite yet, but I sure have no complaints. So far Loretta has exhibited no misbehaviour and none of the symptoms to indicate any problems I see discussed in this forum. So far, so good!

Congrats on both those milestones--and Smrf, no one can say you aren't a serious rider on all those wheels you got--good job!

Thanks Rob...serious riding absolutely...and enjoying every mile of it!! Next month I tackle the freeway to go up to Lake Tahoe.

I thought it was a very cool milestone...had a friend on the ride roll over his 10,000 as well but his scoot has been in service since sometime in 2006.

10K! Congrats! Think you can make 20K by Tahoe Rally??? See you there!

Um...die-hard not looking to die. I'd have to do an iron butt everyday between now and the start of the rally to get those miles! But, am looking forward to the rally. And don't forget to check your tires!! LOL See you there.

Just rolled over 8000 and everything is running great...hope it stays that way because for the next three weeks my 250 (its a long story) will be my sole mode of transportation. Lovin' it!

Shouldn't have any worries. Mine is now 18000 miles (3 months short of 2 years) and everything is fine. Like ufo said, I am loving it.

Oh the truck is OK but due to my wife's crazy travel schedule it is in Maine with her and her car is in Richmond where we left it when I picked her up to drive her to Maine for the month...with the camper. Last night she talked me into flying up to Richmond on Friday to drive it back to Florida cause she doesn't want to drive it back herself...lol, major honey do wouldn't you say...guess I am still a sucker for her after 18 years
