My 2007 GTS 250 has about 17,500 miles on it and I've done all routine maintenance myself. I'm ready to change the coolant but can't find any information on the procedure. My shop manual explains how to purge the system once the change has been done, but not how to drain the coolant. If anyone has any experience with this procedure I'd certainly appreciate any information.
Thanks,
Richard

Revived from a golden oldie: whats this drip?

There is no eloquent way of draining the coolant, Marius. Your best bet is to place a drain pan under the water pump, and remove the lower water pump hose. You can most likely cure your coolant leak(s), by replacing those crimp-on hose clamps at the locations you've highlighted.
BTW, you don't have to drain to coolant to replace any of the hose clamps. Good luck.

Harvey,
Thanks for the information. I suspected that I may have to remove the hose to drain the system, but just wasn't sure if I was missing a drain plug somewhere. You're right the pinch clamps need to be recycled, hopefully into something useful like a beer can, and replaced with an adjustable clamp.
Thanks again,
Richard
