Looking to replace my headlight with something brighter. Was looking to get the PX Halogen Head Light H4 kit at Motorsports - anybody have any experience with this?

I've heard mixed things about this kit - some like it, some say it isn't that much brighter. Can this kit be used with a xenon?

IMHO H4 light need DC power, meantime Our magneto produce AC power... I think you need to convert electrical system to DC...cmiiw
if you force use AC power you'll have a dead battery soon

Sure about that? light bulbs don't care whether they get AC or DC... unless it has some wacky ballast thing like a HID kit.

The H4 set up works fine on AC or DC but only if you use the 35/35 bulbs. These are not available at auto parts stores though. You will only find 45/45, 55/55, 55/65, 65/65, and 75/75 which will give very poor light at idle and the larger ones will kill batteries.

I assume that Wangta mention about HID Xenon kit...
All HID systems require a ballast and ignitor that only work on DC power. some of vespa sends AC to the headlight
