Modern Vespa

Hi there,

we are back from a great trip to Scootermeeting Mormoiron/South France.
After Amerivespa 2009 my best trip i ever did.

We did the 2500km trip with 8 Vespa.

1xVBB P200 Engine (Moritz)
2xRally P200 Engine (Ralf / Michael)
1xGS160 P200 Engine (Oliver)
1xSprint Veloce P200Engine (Christian)
1xSS180 P200 Engine (Alex)
2x P200 Engine (Stefan / Matzen)

Main. SetUp
MALOSSI 21
23 Cosa Clutch
SIP / T5 Exhaust
Carb SI 24/24mm

So we had a fast crusing speed on Motoway

We passed:

Germany
Austria
Switerland
France
Italy

We only had a few break downs like loosen screws, flat tire, burning clutches and a lot of Gas Stops

I only did 2100 kilometers and that was enough.

I was the guy doing the conga in a childs wendy house on friday night. (long story)

..oh i forgot this yesteday. On the trip we had a stop in South of Switerzland (near Lausanne) by very close friends of mine.
They call thereselve the "VESPA GANG".

Noticing one of the pictures, I'm reminded of another scooter webpage were most of the riders post pictures of naked women in a poorly disguised attempt to assert their virility, create a masochistic webspace where women feel uncomfortable, and sandbag against the rising waters of the egodystonic homosexuality. I hope that doesn't happen here.

[Of course there's nothing wrong with egosyntonic gay, lesbian, bi, and even gender variant people of all flavors. I like about Modern Vespa is, it's lack of T&A. I like my "scooter porn" to feature the scooters.]

The subject was well worked a couple of years ago. While there may be an occasionally salty post, you'll find that respect will prevail!

These are GREAT pics Moritz! I especially like this one from your "Family Photos" in your Sorties section.

It reminds me of a scene in the movie "The Magnificent Seven"..when all the hero cowboys come riding into town together. In your case though it would be the Magnificent Eight!
