choke cable died yesterday, so i fitted a bicycle cable . any better ideas until i fit a new one? it still works fine, the thing is you have to keep it until you start, which is just for one kick.

Order the correct choke cable for it. You have a temp. thing going until you receive the correct one. I'm not sure if you could use a P or PX choke cable.
