I'm curious as to where I could purchase the metal emblems that tell your type of scooter, for instance, chukstr's LX 150:

I'm a HUGE Grand Theft Auto fan, and I think it would be neat to replace my LX 150 emblem with one that says "Faggio" (the off-name of scooters in the Grand Theft Auto series). I understand that it's unlikely that I would find that exact emblem, but somewhere where I could custom-order it should do it. Just looking for a place like that.

If it makes your search easier, the "chrome badges" for most of the modern Vespas are "chromed" self-adhesive plastic not metal.

You may want to look here for stock letters: http://chromelettersandnumbers.com/

And it appears these folks do custom: http://www.miladisplays.com/plasticscripts.htm though perhaps only in larger quantities...
