+1000 I ride in the ocean all the time. I read it reduces wear on the flux capacitor on my 2-stroke

In the vein of Genie's thinking...to be fair, it should be in a location where year round riding is possible. E.G...Los Angeles, Ca.

My sister and brother and law are in town from the U.K (last 4 weeks), and can't get enough of the sun here.

Alas, climate change will balance things out around the globe.

you should snow ball it, one person leaves from alaska one from Newfoundland, one from Florida and one from San Diego or Mexico City and you gather more riders as you go along all meeting in the middle.

Even though a working model was not constructed until '85, plans were drawn up for a Flux Capacitor in a GS150 as early as 1955!

One of the locations claimed to be the Geographic Center of the Contiguous (or Conterminous) United States is pinpointed by a historical marker that is located within a small park near the town of Lebanon, Kansas. It is located at the intersection of AA Road and K-191, accessible by a turn-off from U.S. Route 281 approximately a mile north of the town. In actuality, the measured center is about 1/2 to 3/4 mile away on a private farm, but the owner did not want tourists trudging through his field, so the marker was placed as close as possible. There is generally an American flag flying on the pole placed on top of the monument. Just to the south of the monument, yards away, exists a covered picnic area and small four-pew chapel where a couple can take wedding vows if they wish.

.... on a serious note, AmeriVespa seems like a good, existing, set-up for something like this. And speaking of Amerivespa, how 'bout a NYC area Amerivespa in a year or two ...

"Build it and they will come..." Gotta get your NYC-areas peeps committed early. The VCLG folks worked their tails off and set the bar really, really high! And they engaged other groups like the Quitters to help make it work.

East Coast would be awesome, but NYC does present some interesting challenges.
