Man, you guys are lame, and definitely like to rain on a girls parade.
![]() I'm talking about a unscheduled get drunk and hang out kinda vacation with no schedule, just a big block party. We could wear nametags with our screennames and avatars on them! We would know everyone there, we'd just have to figure out who's who. I really like the idea of getting like 6 groups starting from 6 different points of the coast and riding in snowball style picking up new riders as they pass. |

I'll throw in my vote for meeting place. How about the live music capitol of the world: Austin, TX!
It will surely have something for all to do and I know a few places that everyone would like. Just a thought... |

Bermuda.
That's about half way to anywhere if you're considering USA, Canada, and Western Europe. Lots of scooters. |

Oh come on. If we get together let's do it in style...how about Sardinia? You will forget all about those greek isles after coming here..and I can hook all of us up. Second choice.....a Lake Superior getaway? Never mind, the snow would never melt long enough for a nice ride. Nice Summer!

Blame Canada

Or we could divid it up into 8 groups say California could be one group, Arizona and Nevada and Colorado could be another group and so on. ![]() |

Years ago, I went to a Mini (little British car) meet, that joined the westies with the easties, including Canada. The organizer drew an "X" from the previous year's attendance list's NE, NW, SE and SW-most travelers. The "X" was about 11 miles from Grand Junction, NE.

I attended the one in Richmond and it was just as much about riding and socializing as it was about fix-its and put-rights. Also, there was the MV ride at Deals Gap, also in summer of '07 that Surfan organized. Just sayin' |

I'd love to do a one or two week camping tour along the West Coast of the U.S. Problem would be shipping my scooter there. Guess I'd have to rent from somewhere.
Ya know, it would be neat to do a sort of relay tour starting somewhere in Southern California, going up the entire West Coast, along the Canadian border, down the East Coast and back to Southern California along the Gulf Coast. MVers could jump in at any of the meeting points along the way and go as far as they wished. You'd pick up and lose riders all along the way. That might be a pretty cool rally! Start in early June and end sometime in the fall. How long do you think a tour like that would take? |
