My Giallo Lime LX 150, it's the only one I've seen in Philly so far!!

I was wondering if the die on the valve stem is an issue. I have read several posts on other forums about valve stems failing due to manufacturing issues and offset valve adapters causing abnormal forces on the stem and causing them to fail in a BAD way.

I love Philly & I love that scoot! Way to take city & ethnic pride to the scoot!! Enjoy that great Philly food for me!

I am totally biased ....but nice Giallo scooter! I love that they are not common. I almost think we need a Giallo thread (hint hint Giallo lovers out there), b/c I am curious how accessories and mods look on it. I would love to get some piping ala the Super on my seat...either white or yellow

Thats just because Piaggio is color blind. And by the way, your "Darling" Plum should be Daring Plum.

Thats the wife's scooter its an Extra low seat from Pirate Upholstery. They make new seats using stock vespa seat pans that they have on hand and ship it out, then you send them your old seat for credit.

Since someone will ask it was a little less than $500 including shipping after I got my core credit. Thats for vinyl, leather is more expensive. I think the backrest was $40 or $50 of the total price. Of course I had to send them a backrest as well. Service from PIRATE was fast, in my hands in less than a week

She is Daring Plum in color, but Darling Plum is what I named her, seemed to fit. I just haven't come up with a name for the GTS250 yet, even after getting rid of all the chrome, and putting reflective tribal stripes on her. I still can come up with a name... When I do I will replace the Dragon Red under the picture.

Is that name of that colour really "Giallo Lime"? A quick translation online suggests that means "Lime Yellow"... they sure got an interesting lime colour in Italy!

Thanks Peabody!! I was scooting the other day and someone on another Giallo Lime Vespa passed me going the opposite direction!!

I scored a Vespa top case in black off of Craigslist the other day, just installed it. I like the way the yellow and black looks. Will have pics soon!

Now you need to find a black horncast and black lower plastic panels for the rear. That would tie in the color scheme nicely.
