The toolkit that was supposed to come with my ET4 appears to have been lost by a previous owner. Am I right in thinking this would have contained a spark plug socket and a spanner for adjusting the rear suspension?

Would I best to try and obtain a replacement kit (if so where?) or are there generic tools someone can recommend that will fulfil the role of aforementioned kit? Perhaps there should have been other tools in there I might need, too.

I had a look at taking the plug out and it appears it may be rather an awkward job. Input would be appreciated!

i never had one with any of my ETs and to be honest i never missed them. Complete kits don't often come up for sale and when they do they tend to be overpriced. The only thing i didn't already have was the spark plug socket, which you can buy on ebay - i got a Snap-On one for a tenner or something.

here's an idiot-proof method for changing the spark plug (i think it's in the same place on the leader engine): super easy ET4 spark plug change

The spark plug is in a different place on the LEADER-engined ET4 - down on the right-hand side, miles away from the handy access hatch! Cue lots of swearing and cussing from my pet mechanic.

that sounds like exactly the same place it's in on the pre-Leader. my mechanic - who has big giant mechanic's hands - showed me the socket-and-spanner method above. he swapped out a plug on an ET4 that was in his shop to demonstrate, and it took him all of about 4 minutes, even with his enormous man-hands. Razz emoticon
