Since I'm going to be pinched for time between when I make the purchase of the LX150 and when I have to have it to the opposite side of the state Friday for a scooter rally, I called my local Harley Davidson dealer who recently became a Genuine dealer of Buddy scooters.
I was officially their first customer to purchase a scooter oil filter from them. Knowing the Buddy 125/150 uses the same filter as the LX150, I asked them what they had on hand. He sold me a Sentec brand one. It's got a 21mm hex head on the end and it has a Piaggio emblem on it as well.
Are these OK for use on the Leader engine? Their price after tax is 10.60 each. It looks identical to the one pictured here right down to the piaggio logo:

but the part number sprayed onto the side is 8H25.
If these are OK to use, I might stock up on them, since the local price is just about as cheap as I can find them online.
