So I was thinking about heading up to Big Bear Lake from Pasadena..
Just wondering if anyone here has done this trip on a Vespa.
I've been there via car before, but never 2 wheels..
Any feedback/advice is appreciated.
Thanks!

Shouldn't be a problem if you take your 250. If you can't pull the grade as well as the cars, there are plenty of places to pull over to let them pass. It'll be a nice ride.

Are you coming up Angeles Forest Highway? That'll be one sweet ride if you do Pasadena-BB. Yes, take a 250 if you want to stay with traffic. If you can do it mid-week it's better. The crotch-rockets are out on the weekends. Although they've always been very road friendly to us, they do ride pretty fast. Hit the Shell station in La Canada before you head to Wrightwood. It's 60 miles with no services. Another 40ish to Lake Arrowhead and then less than 25 to Big Bear. A totally doable ride with fantastic scenery. Enjoy.
