Currently sporting the lovely Pirelli Mandrakes at 110/80-14 rear, 80/80-16 front on my '03 Piaggio LT150.

I would love to get some some of the slicker, grippier tires everyone loves, but they seem hard to find for my application.

Are there any resources that I can access to see tire size range that my scoot will accomodate?

Most of the beloved tires (zippys,sl26s,pilot citys),aren't available in both 14 and 16 at all, and what is are different widths/heights.

For instance, I have found the Michelin Gold Standard in 110/80-16. Can I use that on the LT150?

Any help is exceedingily appreciated;^)

You do NOT need to have the same manufacturer and model tyres both front and rear. There are some rules (depending on where you are in the world) about tyre carcass types.

Cool! So mix'n 'em up is okay.
Any ideas on determining how much wider/higher I could go?

I've called several shops to no avail- 3 had no tires, 2 had the same ones I've got, but no additional replacement info.

TIA

You can safely go 10mm wider, but best to keep the same profile.
