No matter what is said about Harleys they are in demand all over the world - must be they have some type appeal to all kinds of people.
I took the Duc out for an early morning ride on Pacific Coast Hwy. It was grey and drizzly. I saw about 5 Harleys for every 1 of any other bike.
Which dispels the claim of fair weather riders etc etc.

p.s. also saw 3 Vespas on separate occasions. I waved to them which seemed to shock them!
Wha? emoticon hee hee

Better watch out... You know what is gong to happen

If you don't have another car, I would suggest that you keep the TT

Some people only have a 2 wheeler... but if it rains... or you need to carry... or she doesn't have a helmet

Fiat 500s are really cool with lovely design. No harm in trying something new.
As for the Iron instead of the Fury, here's a clue as to why Harley does it right (ignoring stuff like the Fury has amazingly cheap switchgear, thin plastic chrome etc)

In that case... and depending if you can ride most of the year, I would get the new bikes!

Edited here: - Yes, you are in Malta - so go for it!!

If you need help... I know the way to Malta!

Yes... I have been there twice - in 88 and 90

The food was not too good...

But there is a great Pizza place in Mellieha down near the beach.

I ordered the seafood pizza and it came with a tuna steak, 2 six inch grilled shrimp, muscles in the shell... etc.

It was the best pizza I ever ate... and I have been in about 30 different countries

Plus riding the back roads must be great! - No red lights!!

Here's a photo of the Triumph Bonneville T100 that I bought this year.

Nice addition to the stable. Fun to ride. Sometimes you feel like a scoot - sometimes you don't.

Lots of great suggestions in this thread and bikes too! Best thing to do is try out the bike before you buy to see how it fits you. Some folks like to sit feet forward; some like to sit straight on. Also pay attention to the peg height and how your legs feel when shifting and braking. I like the Triumph Bonneville T100 because it has the same seat height as the Vespa GTS 300 which makes it easy for me to ride each bike.

Hope this helps!

Very pretty bike. Did that one come with fuel injection? I know they are now offered like that.

Very good!

I've ridden several T100s and was pleasantly surprised at what a simply nice, classy, motorcycle Triumph had created in it. Hopefully, I'll find one in the garage one day.

Yes. 2009 was the first model year with FI. I really like the T100 and am happy with the purchase.

I also really like riding my scooter(s) too!

Excellent! I far prefer the 19 inch spoke wheel look compared to the more modern 17 inch cast wheel look that is offered on some Bonnies.. Fits the bike much better.
