although anyone could see that this would not be likely to make him popular
I was hoping to calm him with a little humor

But I see now that I've upset members of the management

Funny how everybody jumps on Yardsale for his spelling,colored type and the way he arranges his sentences. However he probably is one of the few true people who ride everyday and go everywhere on their scooter. Have you seen his pics of his scooter in front of everything in Cali. Just saying. I'm sure he'd like some green thumbs

Hah! Very much enjoying this thread's genuine comity, after the recent ratcheting-up of emotions in the 'Roundel/Ratings/Thumbs" roll-out. Sounds just like a relaxed outdoor summertime party - I can hear girdles loosening; think that the OP must have broken the ice.

I also see the point made elsewhere about not being too quick to ban. This is a large grassy backyard with room for damn near everyone. People are teasing a bit. Persons in a pout are kidded out of it.

YardSale was probably ranting about JimC,
who wasn't pleased when YardSale was posting with really short lines
and in a light color (orange or red, maybe?) that wasn't easy to read

So JimC did threaten to edit YardSale's posts... although, I doubt that he ever did

And I still apologize for upsetting people,
but I'm kinda mystified about what everyone is getting so excited about
(Except for YardSale, who's understandably pissed about his karma rating)

I think they mean the karma marks. The karma marks are the cumulative result of thumbs up/thumbs down ratings. The mods can look at individual posts and see how they were rated. If that is what Jess means, then sure we are being rated in the not-so-modern as well

This is just a test posting just to see if green type automagically generates negative karma.

Listen up, I had quite a few postings that got some of the older members upset at me and now I am paying the price. I've had a conversation on-line with Jess and now I am realing in some of my rude oppinions. YES MY SPELLING SUCKS DICK, NO MORE GREEN, why give us the color option if you get in trouble for using it, so no more green I hope. I am starting over and wish to be more helpfull that in the past. I hope some of my rude readers will forgive my ranting and see it as a helpful salution. I was just testing the water so to speak and some of you took offence. SORRY
