Yes, we used to have a similar compromise in the office. Girls get the boy calendar and the chaps got to have their pictures. Worked pretty well.

That would never fly in the world of corporate America and the sexual harassment concept of "hostile workplace". Basically anything or anyone that makes anyone feel that the work environment is hostile is an actionable offense.

I am not even sure if it its appropriate/acceptable for a chap to say "Nice Top! that looks really pretty." to any woman, especially if he is management and she is in his chain of command.

We had that at a place where I used to work some years ago... It turned bizarre really fast. The guys had a calendar while the other wall turned into this big odd shrine to George Clooney.

All I can say is the pic objectifies both the woman and the scoot. But it's artful and in black and white. She is fully clothed, and aside from the 'come f*** me' look on her face, not at all pornographic.
So pick your object of lustful thoughts, the scoot or the cute!

Jeez! Waaaaaaaay too bony. She looks like a pretty face shopped onto a horizontal stack of leather pipe cleaners. I doubt if she's over 90 lbs., looks very small even when laying on a scooter. I don't think you could find her if she was reclining on a Gold Wing, she'd just blend in with the radio antennas.

She's obviously laying on the Vespa because she doesn't have the strength to sit up.....perhaps the breeze blew her over, or the turbulence from a passing butterfly.

Hmm. I dunno. Strikes me as too skinny. Don't get me wrong, I am not one of those guys who insists he hates skinny women. I just like fit and toned - think Jessica Biel. She's got musculature.

Meanwhile this girl seems to have just neglected to eat one random week. Less attractive in my book. There, it's less about physique and more about how much her hip bones can protrude.

Seriously, this took place in a law firm in the City of London. I had a "HOT PRIEST" calendar bought as a present from Italy by a male colleague. I did not consider myself sexually harrassed.

I deal professionally with sexual harrassment cases now. Some people really are clueless, or alternatively, animals. I consider myself lucky I never have to meet the offenders. As you say, sexual harrassment is in the eye of the receiver. There is no objective standard of what it is considered to be, but sometimes you wonder if the perps have any brains at all, given that the accusation alone can totally ruin your career.
