I want to purchase a new 300 Super.
The local dealer seems to be sitting on the same inventory for some time now and I want to take advantage of the situation with not paying full MSRP. Has anyone else gotten a deal on a 300? I need ammo when I go and talk to them.

Most dealers include shipping and prep fees on top of their MSRP, which are usually up to a few hundred dollars. Don't be afraid to try and talk out a deal, but don't be suprized if you can't talk them down much, if at all. The dealers don't make a ton of money off the scooters themselves. They make their money on accessories and service. Maybe ask if the dealer will throw in helmet or an accessory or two. You'll be more likely to get that kind of deal, than a bike for less than MSRP (paying less than MSRP can happen, but very rarely). Some dealers also offer discounts on service packages at the time of purchase.

Think of it as a movie theater. They don't make squat on ticket sales, but they do on soda and popcorn.
