When I take off from a stop I shutters up to 10 mph. Then runs like normal. What is the problem? I have a 2009 fly 150.

How many miles on your Fly? This sounds like classic buildup of clutch dust in the housing, but that typically doesn't surface until some miles have been put on the bike. The other option is that it's some sort of fuel delivery issue - do you have any issues with the bike stalling?

I have also hear that it could be that flat spots have developed on your variator rollers, so they are not returning to the starting position. Which in affect makes it like the scoot is starting in 2nd gear so to speak. My LX150 is doing this, sometimes not at all sometimes very baddly. I have about 8,500 on it and just got a set of replacement rollers, a belt, a variator and I had the clutch holder. I checked the belt at 7,900 and it looked an felt fine, so I was trying to get a few more miles out of it. Since I am only doing errands at the moment, not even commuting to and from work. I will probably wait till I get everything ready have the time and can arrange with ScooterSteve to come over and we can both learn how to change it out. I plan to do a write up on it to show this for the LX150.

I only have 1200 miles on it. When it is hot out it does not do it. I think it might be the dust. Now I just have to figure out how to get to the belt.

When you open the transmission take lots of pictures if you can.
We need more Fly Info!
You might also check for glazing on the clutch pads and bell.
