OK now you're just getting weird. Signing up once again under a new alias and having a conversation with yourself is just nuts.
True! Some things really only work in real life...talking to yourself on a forum is a bit whacky Laughing emoticon

why not contact piaggio and ask them where do you want me to take the scoot to get fixed, as your dealer apparently can't fix it ?

ooo! A real live sockpuppet!

Sometimes the need for acceptance pushes people to do strange things.

What dgibsonmusic (d2, d3, d5, d7 blah blah) fails to grasp is that Modern Vespa exists to provide a forum for users to directly help each other. It is not a soapbox.

dgibsonmusic should either work it out with his dealer, in person, or work it out with Piaggio. This bullshit about "telling his story" is nothing but an attempted smear campaign because he hasn't been able to work out his problem and he wants to leverage Modern Vespa as a stick to beat his dealer and / or Piaggio over the head with.

Story my ass.

Either ask for help (which we will gladly provide) or get lost.

As I was reading through cutomer protection laws in UK, i found out that if a problem on a car is fixed within the warranty and it then happens again, you have right to ask for a replacement. However, this is for cars, no mention of scooters It is similar in US, isn't it.

Not in California. Here we have lemon laws which also cover bikes.
So what it boils down to is that when push comes to shove, and you meet the lemon law criteria, it does not matter what Piaggio says. And they know it.

Modern Vespa is the premier site for modern Vespa and Piaggio scooters. Vespa GTS300, GTS250, GTV, GT200, LX150, LXS, ET4, ET2, MP3, Fuoco, Elettrica and more.
