how would i go about taking the other installation out before installing the fly screen?

can you clarify what you mean by a 'setup'? if you mean the mounting points in the headset, they are universal and will work for any windscreen.
if you want to remove the old faco windscreen, simply loosen the expander bolts in the headset and take the screen out. the new one should fit right in there. make sure you've got the expander bolts as far into the mounting points as they will go before tightening them.

installation of flyscreen on gt 200
Thanks skoke and roll for the info, but there is tread that is in the headset for the faco large windscreen with the assembly using the straight bolts on either side to fasten.
The bolts for the flyscreen is bent and will not screw into the existing set up in the headset.
the flyscreen set up is using the (2) curved posts and will not screw in because 1) it is shorter and 2) it cannot clear the headset while screwing it in.
The other set up for the big faco uses the straight bolts and is simple to use and allen wrentch to install.

ah, i see what you mean. there is no way to remove the threaded posts from the headset assembly - well, not without major work and customization, which would cost far more than simply buying a flyscreen that is compatible with the GT200. what brand of flyscreen are you attempting to install? i'm guessing it's not a vespa brand screen, or if it is, it's one that is meant for a different model. when i said 'universal' in my first post, i didn't mean that any old screen would fit - any screen designed for the GT/GTS range will fit, but you will have problems trying to install anything that isn't.
the other option, which is less complicated, is to adapt the brackets from the old screen so that they fit the new one. me, i would just go out and get a screen that fits.
