Looking the workshop manual, it seems possible to tap the brake light wire near our glove box. I want to mount the module in the front area like where the controller and horns are. I figure it would be easier that why, instead of messing with the pigtail for the break light.

Has any tried to figure which wire is the brake light by probing all the wires neat pet storage?

I don't know about Vespa and I am not a wire diagram expert or even close. I did put one on my Majesty which required cutting one wire to have it inline and tapping into the other two . I did this down stream near the tailight to keep the wire tap in and module tied together and isolated from stuff upfront so there was no confusion which was rear brake harness. Also that insured for me that the module was after the relay or contact switch actuated by left and right brake lever Maybe too simple headed but it works and you will like the flasher effect. Good luck and I'll be curious to know from real wiring people which wires are which.

I am not familiar with how much space you have behind the brake light on your model but on the GTS/GTV, the Back-Off XP module can be installed directly behind the brake light. There is just enough room for it to fit and the wiring is right there so it's a 5-10 minute job at the most.

Hey jeff if it can wait why don't you do it at our october workshop. The guys have put them in on the 200's. Dan has a 150 but i don't know if he has one in it or not. Shouldn't take them very long to help you get it in. Have a good day

Great idea Judy, but I couldn't wait. I found the wire that needed to be tapped near the pet carrier. It's White/Black wire. Was a pretty straight install, didn't need to run cables to the rear brake lights.
