I actually think it is an improvement. It looks totaly cool. It may not lean and I cannot even think how you turn it but it goes fast and looks great. There may be a day when my knees (I have severe arthritis) won't work well enough to support the weight of even the very well balanced MP3. If that day comes I have no shame in getting one of those guys. I may not be able to lean but I will feel the closeness of the wind and other sense of freedom that the MP3 give me. I would rather be able to ride a Can Am then nothing at all. Oh if I had to choose between the Can Am and any other 3 wheeled non-leaning vehicle I would choose the Can Am over all the others I have seen.

Do not know if the front leans any at all, but I agree about the Goldwing replacement. The issue of the Goldwing frame cracking, and triking it voids all warranties gives the spider a good selling edge. For unfamiliar people, the GL1800 uses a new special aluminum alloy, is welded in five locations I believe. Some cracks are poor welds, thin frame tubing used, or just stress. Not alot at all cracking, but enough for federal court action order to take place. Frame has had at least five modifications to it since 2001.

Looks comfortable for cruising long distant but it won't squeeze through traffic jams like the MP3. I don't mind having one park in my garage though

I think the only Goldwings in danger here, are those custom trikes. Sorry, if it doesn't lean, it's just another convertible/roadster. The original Spyder had some appealing to me (just the looks), but this one...

Who cares about sqeezing through trafficif it's a tourer, the way I see it if I am going to be touring it will be when I'm retired or have plenty of time off and when that happens , for me I will not be in a rush.

Yikes!
Boy, think of the front wheel as the tongue of the trailer. If you don't load that thing right (and it looks like everthing gets loaded behind the trailer axle), you end up bouncing down the road. And good luck at the turns!
