What do you want to know about it... bang for buck the 2t is the quicker machine, but the new 4v 4t gives decent performance and is much better on fuel than the 2t.

You need to decide what you want the machine to do, and pick the machine that suits your needs best.

Both will work well in the city...

The 2t will be quicker when flat out, but its power delivery is more sudden, the 4t model is much smoother and will cope with traffic crawling better.

i ve seen a video about new lx 50 4t and it seems pretty good at acceleration and about fuel too.. in the web site of vespa it says 43.6 km/l

and i think the engines of 4t have a longer life and 2t.. and they dont make to much noise..

lx50 4t
Hey I have a 4t and when I got it , it was sluggish on starts making traffic rough. I decided to get a mallosi cylinder kit and everything is good now. No more sluggish starts and hills are much better and I increased my top speed like 33% from 33 mph to 50+, I love it and have put like 5000 miles on it in a year. good luck with your choice

I have a 4t and it is not a speed racer, but I think it would be fine in Barcelona. I just visited that great city with my wife and two friends a few months ago and loved every minute of it. Out of our 3 week European trip, it was my wife's favorite spot by far. I don't know much about the 2t, but can't imagine there is a ton of difference. Can't you rent them and see which one you like more?
