Recently, I took off the rear rack from my LT and rode without it. To be honest, I don't miss it that much, and the rear end looks so much better.

Now I wonder if I can take things a step further by installing either the seat rail or the chrome rack from a Vespa onto my LT.

(By the way, the old rack was held to the body by three screws, one on the back above the headlamp and two on the sides right below the rear seat)

(Also, I refuse to take pictures of my LT until all of the improvements that I have planned are complete.)

The LTs are most similar to the ETs, as far as Vespas are concerned. I would think that if anything specifically made for a Vespa would fit, it would be something for the ET range. That said, if it were me, I'd scoot over to your nearest dealer that has a lot of accessories actually in stock. See if you can "try on" a few racks and grab rails to see if they'll actually fit, before you plunk down the money.

Good luck accessorizing! I would have loved to have gotten an LT 150. I ended up with a Scarabeo 50 for a good while, but the Scarabeo 150 at the time was just flat out too big for me. Maybe someday I'll get one anyway. Would look interesting next to my GTV. 8)

rak
wont work Its completely incompatable.

the LT is the Liberty in Europe. It still sells new. (there is a flat black S version that is sick)

Check european sites for accessory rails and such. Otherwise you are making something custom.
